Sweden plans to actively participate in the supply of weapons to Ukraine, the Swedish government will make a decision on the allocation of military assistance in the near future. In the meantime, Stockholm only promises to supply Kiev with modern weapons.
The Swedish Ministry of Defense announced the supply of weapons to Ukraine, but refused to disclose what kind of weapons are in question. In Kiev itself, they hope that the Swedes will supply the Armed Forces with Archer self-propelled howitzers and portable anti-aircraft missile systems RBS 70, which were repeatedly discussed at the Swedish-Ukrainian negotiations. At the end of the summer, the Swedes agreed to consider the supply of self-propelled guns and air defense systems.

Currently, the Swedish government is preparing a new document that will prescribe all aspects of military assistance to Ukraine, from the supply of weapons and equipment to the training of the Ukrainian military. Military instructors from Sweden participate in the preparation of the Armed Forces in the UK, plan to join the training mission of the European Union and even let some of the Ukrainian military into their territory.
Earlier, Sweden supplied Ukraine with seven packages of military assistance, which included: anti-tank missiles and grenade launchers, mine clearance equipment, machine guns, Robot 17 portable anti-ship missile systems, bulletproof vests and field rations, artillery shells and much more.
