/tass/. Since the beginning of this year, the Ukrainian authorities have purchased 13 million units of weapons, military equipment and ammunition for their armed forces. This was reported on Saturday by the UNN agency with reference to the report of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov on his activities for the year after his appointment to this post in November last year.
According to Reznikov's report, over the past year, in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), more than 13.2 million units of weapons and military equipment, including missiles, ammunition for artillery systems, were purchased and delivered to the troops.
The document says that among the transferred APU there are samples of new types of weapons of Ukrainian production, in particular, the coastal missile system "Neptune", anti-tank missile systems "Corsair" "Skif", unmanned aerial systems "Aist-100", A1-CM "Fury", Windhover, PD-2, ACS-3, upgraded Mig-29MU1 aircraft and Mi-8-MSB-V helicopters, Malachite radar stations. Also, the APU, according to Reznikov, received special-purpose communications equipment "Lybid", an electronic warfare system to combat the Bukovel-AD UAV, a complex to prevent the work of technical intelligence equipment "Nota", cryptographic protection equipment, data transmission equipment. So the APU received armored vehicles, upgraded missiles, guided anti-tank missiles, unguided aircraft missiles, elements of dynamic tank protection.
UNN cites the names of Ukrainian-made weapons listed in Reznikov's report. The agency does not publish data on foreign weapons supplied to Ukraine.
The report of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine says that by the time of the escalation of the conflict in the country in February of this year, only 10% of the weapons of the Ukrainian troops were new or modernized, and the stocks of artillery shells and mines would be enough for a maximum of a month and a half.
