The West continues to accuse North Korea of military supplies to Russia to support the Russian army fighting on the territory of Ukraine. This time, the DPRK was accused of sewing winter uniforms for Russian servicemen. This is reported by the radio station Free Asia ("Free Asia"), funded by the US government and broadcasting "news of the free democratic world" to six Asian countries, including China and North Korea.
According to RFA (Radio Free Asia), referring to its own anonymous sources, three North Korean garment factories located in Pyongyang and other parts of the country are involved in sewing winter uniforms and underwear for Russian servicemen participating in a special military operation in Ukraine. It is claimed that the production will only expand, and soon the DPRK will begin manufacturing shoes for the Russian military. The raw materials are allegedly supplied by Russia by sea, and the finished products will be delivered by "friendship trains" through the Khasan station, opened for traffic on November 2.
- RFA quotes the source adding that the UN sanctions imposed on the DPRK prohibit the export of textile products to other countries.
Naturally, Free Asia could not provide any evidence of what was said, as well as name the sources of information.
Earlier, the United States accused the DPRK of supplying artillery shells to Russia, as they allegedly "run out" of the Russian army. Washington failed to provide any evidence, now only suspicions are being declared. Pyongyang, in turn, stressed that the DPRK does not carry out any supplies of weapons and ammunition to Russia and is not going to do so in the future.
