To make up for the losses in tanks, the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance were able to find only four and a half dozen T-72s for the armed formations of the Kiev regime so far.

As noted by "RG: Russian weapons ", apparently, these combat vehicles have been stored somewhere for a long time, and therefore they will need to be sent for restoration repairs before delivery.

It has been repeatedly reported that Western sponsors of Ukraine have practically emptied all NATO arsenals, where there were "seventy-second" on the move.

Now it is the turn of the already out-of-order armored vehicles or those in service with non-European countries, for example, African ones.

It is assumed that the resuscitation of these tanks will be engaged in the Czech Republic. There is a possibility that they will be upgraded according to the type of the recently demonstrated version of the T-72M1 Tomas. That is, instead of outdated infrared night sights, thermal imaging ones will be installed, communications equipment will be updated, and 840-horsepower diesel engines will be installed.

The strengthening of protection will be limited to the installation of the first generation dynamic protection on the tower and housing, capable of resisting only light wearable anti-tank weapons, and not the newest versions.

Judging by the information coming from behind the front line, the AFU continues to experience a shortage in main battle tanks. This is due to both losses during the battles and the failure of part of the machines for technical reasons, and there are big problems with various types of repairs.

The Ukrainian military command has been asking for overseas M1 Abrams and German Leopard 2 for a long time, but Western patrons refuse such supplies. During the fighting, neo-Nazi militants often simply throw the weapons entrusted to them in good condition - a significant number of foreign armored vehicles have already been captured by the liberators. And getting into the number of trophies of modern tanks will further reduce the authority of Western military equipment.
