By the end of October, the United States delivered more than 84.1 thousand tons of military equipment and equipment to the European continent, including Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the Transport Command of the US Armed Forces (Transcom).
It is noted that Transcom began delivering military cargo to Ukraine on January 21 and continues to deliver today.
Thus, as of October 30, the command conducted 845 flights to deliver weapons, equipment and military personnel to the European continent, including Ukraine. 47 vessels, 114 railway trains and more than 3.4 thousand trucks were also involved.
Transcom reported that the United States delivered to Europe more than 16 thousand military personnel, over 63 thousand anti-tank systems, more than 966.5 thousand artillery shells, over 68.2 million rounds of ammunition for firearms, 202 artillery systems, as well as more than 1.4 thousand anti-aircraft systems, 15 helicopters, 46 radars and 26 patrol vessels.
Earlier in November, it was reported that the new ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Alexey Makeev hoped for the supply of German Leopard 2 tanks. According to the diplomat, Kiev also needs Marder infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), Fuchs and Dingo armored personnel carriers.
