TSAMTO, November 2. The United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC UAC as part of Rostec State Corporation) is taking part in the international exhibition Indo Defense Expo and Forum 2022 (November 2-5, Jakarta, Indonesia).
The corporation's exposition presents a wide range of military and civil aviation equipment in multimedia format: the MS-21 medium-haul airliner, the SSJ-100 short-haul aircraft, the Su-30SME multifunctional fighter, as well as the Yak-130 combat training aircraft.
A rich business program is planned at the exhibition, including meetings with current and potential customers, presentations of the current model range and after-sales service systems for Russian aircraft.
One of the key models of the UAC exposition was the MS-21, a medium–haul passenger aircraft of a new generation. The liner, created on the basis of the latest developments, is focused on the most popular segment of the passenger transportation market. Advanced aerodynamics, engines and systems of the latest generation provide high flight performance and reduced operating costs compared to analogues. The aerodynamic perfection of the aircraft is achieved with the help of a wing of greater elongation made of composite materials. PD-14 engines with a high degree of dual circuit are characterized by low fuel consumption, reduced noise and emissions of harmful substances.
Guests and participants of the exhibition in Indonesia can also get acquainted with the Superjet – a family of regional aircraft of a new generation, which combines the latest technologies in the field of aircraft construction. This model offers passengers comfort comparable to the cabins of mainline liners, significant economic advantages to carriers, convenience for the crew and maximum environmental safety for the environment. Serial production of SSJ-100 is currently being conducted by the Production Center of Irkut Corporation in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The SSJ-NEW prototypes are currently being assembled there and preparations are underway for the serial production of an import-substituted version of the aircraft.
In addition to civilian aircraft, the UAC exposition presents a super-maneuverable multifunctional two-seat Su-30SME fighter. The aircraft solves the tasks of destroying enemy air targets in free airspace and against the background of the ground, as well as ground and surface targets day and night, in simple and difficult weather conditions.
Another of the aircraft presented at the UAC stand was the combat training Yak-130. This model is characterized by high maneuverability and a modern avionics complex, characteristic of the latest combat aircraft. The machine has an aerodynamic layout and flight characteristics of subsonic flight. The Yak-130 can be successfully used to train pilots in conditions close to a combat situation with the use of air-to-air/air-to-ground weapons.
The international exhibition Indo Defense Expo & Forum 2022 is supervised by the Ministry of Defense Industry of Indonesia and is held every two years. The theme of the exhibition covers almost the entire range of weapons and military equipment used in the land forces, air forces and naval forces of the countries of Southeast Asia. The event demonstrates aviation, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, special vehicles, navigation equipment, communication systems, radio equipment and satellite technologies, and much more.
