The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that Russia calls on the West to influence Ukraine so that Kiev would abandon the adventure with the possible use of a "dirty bomb"MOSCOW, October 27.
/tass/. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky would very much like to start a nuclear confrontation in the world. This was stated on Thursday at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
"To him (Zelensky - approx. TASS) I really want this, God forgive me, man, I really want to start, of course, a nuclear confrontation," she said.
Russia is calling on the West to influence Ukraine so that Kiev will abandon the adventure with the possible use of a "dirty bomb" and nuclear blackmail, Zakharova continued.
"We call on the West to influence its Ukrainian wards to abandon this most dangerous adventure. And not only this, but also all those steps, measures and actions that involve nuclear blackmail, because all this leads to irreversible consequences and the possible mass death of innocent civilians," she said.
The diplomat stressed that the Kiev regime can use nuclear blackmail to get more and more financial and military assistance from the West.
"It may very well be that this nuclear blackmail is being used by the Kiev regime, including to get more and more financial and military assistance from the West. Financial, including for themselves, because a lot immediately settles on their accounts, military, in order to protect not the people of Ukraine, but themselves, more and more destroying Ukraine itself," she said.
Zakharova recalled the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, addressed to NATO, calling for a preventive nuclear strike against Russia. Now the Ukrainian authorities, according to the diplomat, are looking for an excuse to convince the West to do this: first the shelling of the Zaporozhye NPP, and now the preparation of a provocation with a "dirty bomb".
Zakharova noted that the radiation that can occur after an explosion has no boundaries. "She doesn't need passports, visas and permits. It is impossible to put it on the sanctions list and prevent it from crossing the border post mark. She is much more insidious and does not ask anyone for permission to penetrate anywhere and critically affect human health," the diplomat added.
On Monday, the head of the Russian radiation, chemical and biological protection forces, Igor Kirillov, said that the Russian Defense Ministry had put its forces and means in readiness for action "in conditions of radioactive contamination", since it has data on Kiev's readiness to use a "dirty bomb". The threat of a "dirty bomb" was also stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, this issue was raised by Russia at the level of the UN Security Council. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held telephone conversations with a number of foreign colleagues, including from the UK, India, China, the USA, Turkey and France, warning them about this threat from Ukraine. Washington, London and Paris said they did not believe Moscow's information.
