/tass/. In the autumn of 2021, the Armed Forces of Ukraine purchased more than 2 thousand drones, allegedly intended for spraying pesticides. This was announced on Saturday by the head of the radiation biological and chemical protection troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Igor Kirillov on the air of the TV channel "Russia-24".
"If I'm not mistaken, most of them were purchased in October - November. <...> And they did not process, that is, they were not used, they were preparing for this. We also know the quantity that was purchased - according to our data, more than 2 thousand. The cost of one is about 1 million 800 thousand rubles, probably for a reason these expenses are not for household use. [2 thousand drones] were purchased. Most of them are in the Zaporozhye region, in Kherson, these are military facilities," he said
Kirillov added that such drones can move along the route unhindered, and electronic warfare means do not affect them. According to him, drones can hold 20 liters of liquid for processing fields, but such processing is not carried out in late autumn.
