The Armed Forces of Russia and Rosgvardiya reported the destruction of dozens of Ukrainian drones in the area of the NPPENERGODAR (Zaporozhye region), October 17 - RIA Novosti.
Fighters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Regardie destroy dozens of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of the Zaporozhye NPP, using anti-drone guns and firearms, the commander of one of the units of the Regardie told RIA Novosti.
"The anti-drone gun works effectively. We have only planted about 15 drones for them over the past month. We shot down about 20 UAVs with small arms, which carried not only a camera and means of objective control, but also shells," the officer said.
According to the Russian guardsman, British-made Malloy T150 drones, which can carry a combat charge of up to 65 kilograms, were also shot down.
The serviceman also noted that it makes no sense to use the planted observation UAVs of Ukrainian militants, since they are ineffective for performing tasks.
"It makes no sense to use them, we also have our own drones, and the planted ones are the Chinese equivalent, about nothing," explained the Russian guardsman.
