As the deputy Mikhail Sheremet noted, this was shown by strikes on critical infrastructure facilities in UkraineMOSCOW, October 13.
/tass/. Strikes on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine show that Russia does not need to use nuclear weapons to ensure security. This opinion was expressed by Mikhail Sheremet, a member of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption.
"There will still be an exhaustive answer [to Ukraine]. Now it continues, this is a systematic work for more than one day. And if our opponents provoked us to use nuclear weapons, then Russia shows everyone that it has serious trump cards in its deck and there is absolutely no need to use nuclear weapons in order to solve issues of ensuring the security of its territory and citizens," the deputy said on Thursday during a round table on the topic of massive strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure.
Sheremet also stressed that it is impossible to "negotiate" with terrorists, it is necessary to eliminate them. "The damage they cause to [our] infrastructure, the life and health of our citizens - they are subject only to liquidation," the deputy added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday at an operational meeting with members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation announced a massive strike on the energy, military and communications facilities of Ukraine, and also warned Kiev that if the Ukrainian authorities try to continue to commit terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation, the responses will be tough.
