The Armed Forces of Russia hit energy and other facilities in Kiev, Zaporozhye, Mykolaiv and other regionsStrikes on the power system of Ukraine destroy military logistics and after one and a half or two weeks of such strikes, the VFU will face global problems and loss of combat capability, experts explained to Izvestia.
On October 11, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to attack military administration and energy facilities in the territory controlled by Kiev, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. Reports of massive power outages and communication problems in Ukrainian cities have reappeared on the Internet.
"Goal achieved"
The armed forces of the Russian Federation continued to deliver massive strikes with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons at the facilities of the military administration and the energy system of Ukraine, the Russian military department reported.
— The target of the strike has been achieved. All designated facilities have been hit," said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
Judging by the reports in social networks, the missiles hit targets in Kiev, Zaporozhye, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa regions.
The strikes and the work of the Ukrainian air defense were recorded, in particular, in Shepetovka, Khmelnytskyi region. This city is an important railway junction. There is also a repair plant there, where armored vehicles and artillery systems are being restored on a regular basis. Last week, the Russian Defense Ministry already reported a missile strike on this enterprise.

A powerful fire broke out at the site of the strike in Volnogorsk, Dnipropetrovsk region. There is a large electrical substation, as well as several large industrial enterprises. It was also reported about strikes on the Ladyzhinskaya TPP in the Vinnytsia region and a number of other energy facilities.
The Russian armed forces began to fight for real, so it was necessary to act from the very beginning, according to military expert Vladislav Shurygin.
— Now we are striking at the infrastructure of the state, — he explained. — First of all, they are applied to energy, communications and railways. All these targets are vulnerable, and we have every opportunity to influence them. Leaving the enemy without electricity, we will leave him without light and communication, as well as without normally operating railways. Such combat work must be continued. This is what the West is afraid of, which is why they raised such a cry.
The expert noted that problems with electricity will disrupt the entire logistics of the VFU — the system of transportation of personnel, military equipment, ammunition, related cargo, as well as the work of military and repair plants.
— It will become easier for our units at the front, — he noted. — While there is a shock in Ukraine, but they will be able to restore the destroyed objects. In order to globally destroy military logistics, you need to work in this way for a week and a half or two.
Caught on the ferry

When the fire stopped, Erdem's unit changed positions, moving to a safe area. Ukrainian nationalists fired at the positions of motorized rifle units.
