/tass/. Ukraine is collecting information about uncontrolled water discharges at the hydroelectric power plant in order to arrange a provocation with the flooding of the Zaporozhye NPP. This was stated to TASS by the chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov.
According to him, for the last three weeks, the SBU has been collecting information about the capabilities of the NPP in the event of uncontrolled water discharge at the cascade of the HPP. We are talking about the Kremenchug HPP, the Sredneprovskaya HPP and the Dnieper HPP directly in Zaporozhye. "This suggests that provocations are being prepared related to the collapse of the DneproGES or the opening of the gateway," Rogov added.
"But the main goal is to flood the Zaporozhye NPP," he said.
According to Rogov, the SBU, among other things, demanded information about the exercises on water discharge from the ex-head of the Zaporozhye NPP Igor Murashov. "The SBU is looking for this information in every possible way. They demanded data on exercises to simulate this situation (water discharge - approx. TASS) from the Soviet archives left at the NPP, from the now former CEO Murashov," he said, specifying that the SBU did all this by order of the British special services.
Rogov said that the Security Service of Ukraine has already modeled the situation, as a result of which "the coastal territory of Zaporozhye will be flooded by a huge, at least twenty-meter wave, which will move at a speed of over 17 meters per second, that is, over 60 kilometers per hour." At least four districts of the city will suffer greatly from this, not even tens, but hundreds of thousands of people will be in the affected area. "There is a high probability of not just flooding, but also human casualties, and this is dangerous for the Zaporozhye power plant due to the fact that the NPP will be flooded and unsuitable for restoration, for restarting and generating electricity," he explained, adding that in the event of a breakthrough of all three dams, water flows will reach Zaporozhye in more than five hours.
Earlier today, Rogov said that the Dnieper hydroelectric power station and five bridges across the Dnieper in the city of Zaporozhye have been mined by Ukraine since March.
