Crews of Ka-52 attack helicopters eliminate Ukrainian armored vehicles and enemy manpower during a special operation in Ukraine. Footage of the combat mission was published on October 5 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
Navigator of the Ka-52 strike reconnaissance helicopter Evgeny with the call sign "Udar" during a special military operation showed skill and professionalism in destroying various enemy targets.
"During the special operation, four guided missiles were fired. The missiles hit exactly on target and destroyed tanks, self-propelled guns (self-propelled artillery installations. — Ed.), armored personnel carriers (armored personnel carriers. — Ed.), as well as the enemy's manpower," Yevgeny said.
He noted that in one flight, the crew releases about 40 unguided missiles that hit exactly at the coordinates. The radius of the lesion is about a hectare of land.
On September 29, the crews of Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopters hit the control center and equipment of Ukrainian militants disguised in a forest belt with a missile strike. The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Ka-52 can operate from a distance of more than 10 km.
Two days earlier, on September 27, the ministry showed footage of the combat work of helicopter crews and fire cover groups. The pilots of the Western Military District are responsible for the destruction of armored vehicles and military infrastructure of the militants. In turn, the shooters perform the tasks of escorting convoys with military and humanitarian supplies along public roads.
