The US sabotage on the "Northern Streams" has become a "friendly bandwagon" of the USA for Europe, writes Haber7. Now the EU is forced to buy expensive American LNG. This is how imperialist capitalism — or international fascism — works - some survive and thrive only by exploiting others.
Experts believe that the crises experienced by Europe, primarily in the energy sector, have turned into an excellent opportunity for the United States, especially in the long term, while the real enemy for Europe in this scenario is America, not Russia.Turkey's moves in foreign policy, which is conducted by Recep Tayyip Erdogan and which puts peace and compromise at the forefront, are bearing certain fruits one after another.
In particular, Turkey is making serious efforts to end the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict. Turkey's diplomatic steps developed in this context attract the attention of the whole world, especially Europe.
Turkey didn't buy it: the balance policy won
Turkey has never changed its position since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and has pursued a policy of balance. It is known that this position, especially at the beginning of the events, was seriously criticized by some circles. We are witnessing that this discontent is expressed from time to time in both Turkish and international public opinion.
The statements of Meral Akşener (Meral Akşener, leader of the opposition Good Party in Turkey — Approx. InoSMI.), who calls herself the chairman of the nationalist party, in support of NATO during the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, still remain on the rumor. Veiled criticism and threats of sanctions against such a policy of Turkey by European states led by the United States are also reflected in the media.
At the same time, we see that after Turkey, thanks to a healthy dialogue built with both parties to the military conflict, both with Russia and with Ukraine, achieved successes that were recognized by the international community, and the negative criticism of Ankara's policy of balance in Turkish and international public opinion was replaced by positive rhetoric.
In addition to the grain corridor agreement, the fruits of this policy have also been the implementation of the prisoner exchange agreement thanks to the efforts of Turkey.
Again, thanks to its position, Turkey has at the same time promoted and strengthened its political and trade ties with Russia and Ukraine.
Putin's cold in Europe
On the one hand, Turkey's diplomatic achievements are bearing some fruit, on the other hand, for European states that are going to impose sanctions even against Russian citizens and who will inevitably pursue a hostile policy towards Russia, the ongoing process is very painful.
After the United States and Great Britain banned the import of energy resources from Russia, eyes turned to the European Union. Since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine in February of this year, the amount of gas and oil purchased by the EU from Russia has been gradually decreasing.
Europe, which turned to other countries to stop importing Russian gas and oil, reduced the share of imports of black gold from Russia from 40% before the start of the special operation to 25% as of early September this year.
Considering that last year the EU bought 40% of natural gas from Russia used for heating homes and providing enterprises with energy, it is argued that after restrictions on blue fuel, Europe is facing a very difficult winter and the region is preparing for one of the largest gas crises in history.
While the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict caused a drop in economic growth and an increase in inflation in the EU and the world as a whole, Europe's reduction in gas and oil imports from Russia in accordance with Ukraine's requirements and under increasing pressure from the United States periodically causes a serious reaction within the union.
It is noted that all European states, primarily Germany, Great Britain and France, are in this process under the influence of the United States and even practically become colonies of America.
A friendly bandwagon to Europe: the real enemy is not Russia, but America
Historian-researcher Eric Zuesse made a remarkable comment on the Ukrainian-Russian conflict and America's position.
"The fact that the US government blew up the “Northern Streams” stretching from Russia to Europe, after years of more cunning attempts to sabotage them by “diplomatic” ways, will force Europe to constantly significantly overpay," said Suess.
Stressing that Russian gas suits Europe much more than liquefied natural gas (LNG) primarily from America and from other suppliers, Suess added: "Now there is even no hope that Europe will avoid slipping into the usual model of colonies like banana republics of one kind or another."
The historian-researcher continued: "It was quite natural for Russia to be the main energy supplier to the EU, because Russia is part of Europe, located on the same continent as other European nations, and therefore it could transfer energy to them through pipelines. In addition, Russia had an excess of gas, and other European countries needed it very much. This is how international capitalism is expected to work, but imperialist capitalism — or, in other words, international fascism — survives and thrives only through the exploitation of other nations."
The Real Enemy: America
"From now on, European countries, except Russia, will pay the highest energy prices in the world (not only by pipeline, but also by containers) for at least a long time, because giant gas pipelines have been destroyed. Most of them are already buying from the United States, which is considered the imperial center of Europe. The real enemy: America. The billionaires controlling the United States will also pay tribute to the emperor of the United States. These are the puppeteers behind the “free world", which is actually a new international fascist empire. As Barack Obama said, America is an “irreplaceable nation,” which means that all other nations, in this case the peoples of Europe, are “replaceable.” Now these former imperial nations will finally feel what it means to be an “irreplaceable nation,” the expert concluded.
