"For the smooth execution of the state order at the Motovilikha Plants, a reorganization was carried out - the military competencies were concentrated on the basis of the subsidiary of CJSC SKB, and the civilian ones were transferred to the subsidiary of LLC MGM. Currently, these enterprises are performing work, including state contracts, on property leased from Motovilikha Plants," Rostec said.
The state corporation also reported that part of the property of the Motovilikha Plants was put up for auction. "First of all, these are non-core assets that are not involved in the main activity of the enterprise. The property involved in the execution of the state defense order and mobilization state contracts can be transferred only to investors who have the appropriate licenses, in compliance with the obligations to ensure its integrity, safety and fulfillment of the state budget," the press service explained.
Rostec stressed that the sale of the company's property complex does not affect the continuation of the production of weapons and military equipment. According to Rostec, the company is currently undergoing technical re-equipment and updating of the machine park, which will increase the quality of products and create new jobs.
In addition, an updated data processing center was put into operation at Motovilikha, which will cover the needs of the enterprise in computing resources for at least the next five years. Digitalization will significantly accelerate the development of new products and improve technological processes.
