The President of Ukraine claims that Kiev has always offered to hold talksKYIV, September 30.
/tass/. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that Kiev is ready to negotiate a settlement with Moscow, but not with Vladimir Putin, and with another Russian president.
"We are ready for dialogue with Russia, but with another Russian president," Zelensky said on Friday in a video message published on his Telegram channel.
Zelensky claims that Ukraine has always offered Russia to hold talks "on fair, equal and fair terms," but, according to him, as long as Vladimir Putin is president of Russia, "this is impossible."
From September 23 to 27, referendums on joining Russia were held in the DPR and LPR, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The overwhelming majority of residents were in favor of joining the Russian Federation. On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions signed agreements on the accession of these regions to Russia.
