Russian air defense systems shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle Bayraktar TB-2 over the Kakhovsky reservoir, which was traveling from the Nikopol area in the direction of the Zaporozhye NPP," he said at a briefing on the progress of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
Bayraktar TB-2 is a medium-altitude attack and reconnaissance UAV of long flight duration of the Turkish company Baykar Makina. Its maximum speed can reach 222 km / h, the device can stay in the air for up to 24 hours, and the practical ceiling of the UAV is 8.2 thousand m.
