MOSCOW, 19 Sep — RIA Novosti. Representatives of the United States have admitted that they conducted biological research in Ukraine on low-income citizens and patients of psychiatric clinics, said Igor Kirillov, head of the Russian Armed Forces RCMP troops.
For example, a meeting of the States parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons was held in Geneva in early September. At this meeting, representatives of Russia raised more than 20 questions about the illegal activities of Kiev and Washington.
The Ukrainian side also refused to explain the emergency destruction of documents on the military biological program, saying that it was not in court.
At the same time, Moscow received documents proving that Ukraine tried to terminate cooperation with the US Department of Defense Threat Reduction Office (DITRA).
This is confirmed by the appeal of the American Ambassador to Kiev John Tefft from February 2013, where he demands from the Minister of Agricultural Policy to promote the extension of the DITRA project for four years.
The Ministry of Defense stated that under pressure from the United States, only 89 countries out of 184 parties to the convention took part in the meeting. At the same time, more than half of the delegations that spoke — 22 out of 43 — supported the Russian position, or took a neutral one.
Thus, the Russian speeches forced many states to think about the risks of interaction with the Pentagon in the military-biological sphere, Kirillov concluded.
