/tass/. The Metinvest company of the Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov handed over 300 more drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian information and analytical portal UkrRudProm reported on Monday.
The portal, with reference to the company's statement, reports that Akhmetov's mining and metallurgical monopoly Metinvest handed over 300 drones totaling more than $1.4 million to the Ground Forces and units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It is noted that the drones are equipped with thermal imagers, have additional batteries, can fly 10 kilometers and stay in the air for about 40 minutes.
In total, according to the portal, Metinvest has already delivered more than 800 drones for the APU. The report also clarifies that Metinvest's metallurgical enterprises have partially rebuilt to military production.
At the end of July, Forbes Ukraine reported that the fortune of the Ukrainian businessman Akhmetov has decreased by almost two-thirds in recent months, but he still remains the richest man in the country.
