Work with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) produced on the basis of the educational and methodological center for military-patriotic education of youth "Avangard" can be included in the program of secondary schools in Moscow and the Moscow region. This was reported to TASS by the director of the center Daria Borisova.
"The governor of the Moscow Region has a plan to apply to schools with this proposal," Borisova said. - We also have the help and support of colleagues from the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation, who kindly cooperate with us in terms of the Cyberdrome technology competition, the final of which will probably be held at the Avangard base in October. We hope that this big story, which we are all trying to introduce into schools together, will come to life. And not only schoolchildren of the Moscow region, but also schoolchildren of Moscow will be able to study on unmanned aerial vehicles that are assembled and constructed in Russia."
The head of Avangard clarified that the training of working with UAVs is planned to be carried out as part of the lessons of housing, technology or computer science. "The story of the drone and robotics is complicated and consists of several stages - assembly of the device, programming, piloting and countering another drone. Therefore, we divided into several subjects within the curriculum, prepared these programs for their rehabilitation in schools," Borisova said.
According to her, at the moment the drone, designed in the "Vanguard" and shown at the international military-technical forum "Army-2022", exists in a single copy. In the future, it is planned to launch serial production of the device.

During the year, the center accepts more than 30 thousand cadets.
