/tass/. The United States and its allies are discussing the possibility of providing Kiev with air defense and fighter aircraft in the medium and long term. This was reported on Tuesday by the Financial Times newspaper with reference to the American military of high rank.
"Washington and its allies are discussing Ukraine's long-term needs, such as air defense, and how acceptable it will be to provide Kiev with fighters in the medium and long term," the publication says.
The newspaper notes that the United States and other Western countries have so far refused such supplies.
