Ukraine is actively conducting terrorist work on the Russian Federation with the full support and sponsorship of WashingtonThe American leadership is considering the supply of weapons systems to Ukraine that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to use on the territory of the Russian Federation.
These can be long-range ATACMS missiles for HIMARS complexes, as well as aviation weapons of destruction. In Ukraine, they no longer hide their intentions
use them inside the borders of our country. In recent weeks, Kiev has been actively conducting terrorist attacks on Russian territory. At the same time, the neighboring state does not hide that it does this with the tacit support of Washington. How can Russia respond militarily to such a challenge — Izvestia dealt with.
Echeloned defense
You can offer several options for a military reaction at once. Among them should be defensive measures, threats of retaliatory measures and special military operations to disrupt the supply of such weapons systems. The latter can be perceived as a kind of active defense, which in such a situation looks completely justified. Consider the military-technical solution of such a system of equations with a set of unknowns.
The defense of the Russian territory should be built in a comprehensive manner — starting from the violation of the possibility of using the weapons system and ending with the possibility of intercepting missiles already fired in our direction.

At close range, the last line, the cover should be provided by the air defense forces with
the most modern anti-aircraft complexes and systems such as "Pantsir-S", S-350 "Vityaz", S-400 and the latest S-500. We must not forget the Buk-M2 and Buk-M3 military air defense systems. Ideally, domes of protective "umbrellas" should be built around the main defended centers, overlapping each other both in range and height, and according to the specific capabilities of the SAM.
Of course, we need a solid radar field, and taking into account the likely use of short—range ballistic missiles — those ATACMS - radar control should extend to the heights of near space. Thus, it is necessary to build a defense system that will destroy the maximum of the number of missiles that the enemy can launch at our facilities. Is there a chance that all enemy ammunition will be shot down? There is. But in reality, some of them will break through. Even if it is possible to get the highest efficiency of air defense and missile defense at the level of 90% — then 10 out of 100 enemy missiles will reach the targets, which is still not enough. Therefore, defense alone is not enough.
Search for launchers
If we reduce the number of missiles launched from Ukrainian territory, we will be able to significantly reduce the effectiveness of such strikes and increase the reliability of the air defense system. At least simply because the defense system will be able to work more efficiently for fewer targets. The most effective way to do this is to destroy the starting positions and launchers.
This method has been used for a long time — let's recall the Western coalition's hunt for Saddam Hussein's SCUD in Iraq. The search for launchers should be conducted jointly by means of aerial, space and radio intelligence, which scan and detect bursts of activity of digital exchanges over radio communications. It is unlikely that it will be possible to open and decipher the transmitted information quickly, but the identification of patterns and the direction finding of transmission points will allow you to reveal the tactics of using enemy strike forces.

In the air, it is possible to organize aviation duty with supersonic X-31s, as well as work on uncovered targets with Iskander-M ballistic missiles with minimal flight time. Warehouses will not run away anywhere, they can also be hit with something less high-speed — for example, "Calibers" and other cruise missiles. And for Iskanders, the most important goals are mobile.
In the above scenario of a strike by a hundred missiles, reducing the number of enemy launchers by 40% will reduce the number of missiles that have broken through from ten to five. This alone will save hundreds of lives.
Breaking logistics chains
Missiles are delivered to the enemy through warehouses, transport routes, air bases on the territory of neighboring countries. The Dagger complex with the MiG-31I carrier aircraft can hit any aircraft of any country on the territory of Eastern Europe with high precision and right at the moment of unloading. What can such work on preventing the supply of missiles lead to? To reduce the broken missiles to two or three.
But somewhere these missiles are loaded onto planes — there, across the ocean? They are transported from warehouses to air bases. In the end, they produce. Of course, this is almost fantastic, but technically, a Zircon rocket can be "cut out" a specific loading and, probably, even at the moment of takeoff, unnoticed or almost imperceptibly, like a surgical laser scalpel. Of course, not from any American airbase — you need it to be at a distance of up to 1000 km from international waters.

Is it possible to eventually reduce the number of rockets that will explode in our cities to zero? Yes, it is possible by means of passive and active defense. But that's not all. We have another equation that has been working successfully since 1945 in matters of strategic confrontation — the threat of a retaliatory strike.
Indeed, if American weapons can be struck on our territory, then why can't Russian missiles be struck on American territory? The United States is clearly not concerned about the threat of a possible nuclear war when they give the go-ahead for the use of "Haimars" in Russia. So maybe make them think about the dangers of such a path? It makes sense to deploy a brigade of Iskanders in Chukotka or several links of the Tu-22M3 in Nicaragua or Cuba. Perhaps this will make the United States think that by their actions they are pushing the world a few steps closer to a nuclear apocalypse.
