TSAMTO, September 8. The APU received the first 20 WARMATE barrage ammunition (BB), which are used by the armies of Poland and other NATO member countries.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, was announced on September 7 by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
"The APU received the first 20 WARMATE BB drums thanks to the monobank collection. Mono bank has 64 million hryvnias ($1.7 million) on its account, which were transferred to the "Drone Army". For this money, we bought 40 BB WARMATE. We have already transferred half of them to the front," M. Fedorov said in his Telegram channel.
He specified that the remaining 20 BB will be delivered to the front line by the end of September.
As the agency reminds, earlier the general staff of the Ukrainian troops reported that the country should have its own "Drone Army" to help the military to "close the front line with drones" 2,470 km wide.

- information gathering and intelligence (GS9 head with video camera);
- conducting reconnaissance and striking enemy manpower (reconnaissance head with fragmentation warhead);
- conducting reconnaissance and defeating armored targets (reconnaissance head with a cumulative warhead).
The launch is carried out using a pneumatic launcher.
Ammunition is controlled by a single operator.WARMATE can be used as an autonomous system, or fly along a programmed route.
The ammunition can be supplied in a wearable or portable version. The WARMATE design provides for the possibility of its installation on a vehicle (car, armored personnel carrier), as well as the integration of the control system of the station and the data processing terminal with the equipment of the platform. WARMATE is positioned as an alternative to anti-tank guided missiles, allows you to hit targets at a longer range, as well as to carry out barrage in search of a target for a long time.In the combat version, WARMATE is a single–use device, in the reconnaissance version it can be used repeatedly.
The device is equipped with control modules that allow automating most of the flight stages, including the targeting phase. The operator fully controls the flight and is responsible for cocking the warhead, issuing permission to hit the target. The wingspan of the WARMATE is 1.4 m, the length is 1.1 m, the target range is up to 12 km, the maximum flight duration is 50 minutes.
