Technical means of delivery and use of biological weapons based on a drone with a container for infected insects have been patented in the United States, Igor Kirillov, head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, said on Saturday.
According to him, there is a document No. 8,967,029 on an unmanned aerial vehicle for the spread of infected insects in the air, issued by the US Patent and Trademark Agency. The description of the patent says that this device will help destroy or disable enemy troops without risk to US military personnel.
"As you know, in accordance with American law, a patent in the United States cannot be granted in the absence of a real device. Thus, it can be concluded that the container as a means of delivering biological agents was developed and produced," he said.
