Zelensky's office promised to submit a document on security guarantees by the end of August MOSCOW, August 23/ Sputnik Radio.
The Kiev authorities expect to soon present the first and "very powerful" document with recommendations on security guarantees for Ukraine, said the head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky Andrey Ermak, UNIAN reports.
Ermak made the statement after a meeting with advisers to the heads of state and government of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Hungary.
According to Yermak, Kiev periodically raises this topic at meetings with partners who, according to Zelensky's office, demonstrate interest in the issue.
Andrei Ermak also recalled that the essence of Zelensky's proposal is that in the future this document could become "the basis of a new global security system."
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported on Ukraine's desire to join a defense alliance with a country from the "nuclear club".
