The complex was delivered, including JSC "Hammer-Weapon" MOSCOW, August 23.
/tass/. The Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering (Tsniitochmash, part of the Rostec Kalashnikov Concern) has begun deliveries of a smart acoustic target "Indicator" for testing new samples of small arms and sniper complexes. This was reported to TASS at the last forum "Army-2022" in the press service of Tsniitochmash.
"Tsniitochmash has orders for the acoustic target "Indicator" developed at the Institute. In particular, the target complex was supplied by JSC "Hammer-Weapon". Now work is underway to organize the delivery of the complex of JSC "Plant named after V.A. Degtyarev," the press service said.
An intelligent shooting target allows you to quickly and with high reliability determine the accuracy and accuracy of shooting. The technology eliminates the triggering of the target from ricochet bullets or clods of earth and the influence of a subjective factor on the test results due to its complete exclusion from the process of collecting and processing the results obtained.
The characteristics of the complex are comparable in level with modern analogues from Switzerland and the UK. The "smart" target consists of a housing with acoustic sensors and a computer. The operation of the complex is based on the principle of acoustic location. Sensors detect the shock wave formed by the bullet when flying through the contour of the target, and the computer determines the exact location of the hit.
