Moscow. August 17th. INTERFAX-AVN - Rosoboronexport is closely monitoring the movements of Russian military equipment exported, a gross violation of contractual obligations has been committed by the United States, the head of the company, Alexander Mikheev, told Interfax.
Rosoboronexport is closely monitoring the movements of Russian military products exported and the partners' compliance with their obligations to prevent unauthorized transfer to third countries," Mikheev told the agency at the Army-2022 forum.
"To date, we have recorded one gross violation of contract documents - on the part of the United States, which reported the transfer of Mi-17V-5 helicopters to Ukraine. This was done contrary to the end-user certificate signed at the State Department level and handed over to the Russian Foreign Ministry, which clearly states that the helicopters are intended exclusively for the Afghan army. This issue is subject to consideration at the intergovernmental level," the head of the company said.
He also stated that the company is taking measures to avoid freezing funds in mutual settlements.
"We have not seen signs of normal competition in the market for a long time. Therefore, we have built a system of cooperation with countries friendly to Russia, which excludes the possibility of withdrawing funds and property from us or our customers. This is a stable system that allows us to conclude agreements with partners in a planned manner," Mikheev said.
