Roselektronika has created antennas for high-speed Internet in airplanes, trains and ships

KUBINKA, Aug 16 - RIA Novosti. Roselectronics Holding (part of Rostec) has developed domestic antennas for cars, trains, helicopters, airplanes and ships that will provide them with high-speed Internet anywhere in Russia, the systems will go into series from 2023, the company told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

Within the framework of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022", Roselektronika presented for the first time a line of the latest satellite communication antenna systems for cars, trains, helicopters, airplanes and ships. Through domestic satellites in orbit, the equipment will allow transport passengers to use stable high-speed communications anywhere in Russia," the press service said.

According to the company, the new antenna systems are integrated with multimedia complexes and allow you to organize video conferencing, including closed, IP telephony, constant high-speed Internet connection, satellite TV signal reception, as well as to ensure the exchange of monitoring information necessary for the management and control of the vehicle.

The equipment developer concern Automatika (part of Roselectronics) presents three types of antenna complexes at the Army-2022 forum: for airplanes, helicopters and mobile objects.

The aviation antenna system is designed for installation on passenger aircraft, such as Superjet, Tu-214, MS-21. The system for mobile objects is designed for use on cars and trains. This year, the equipment has successfully passed full-scale tests on the route Moscow-St. Petersburg - Petrozavodsk - Murmansk.

The helicopter antenna complex is compact and capable of operating through a rotating helicopter propeller. The equipment can be installed on small aircraft, including unmanned ones.

As the General Director of the United Instrument-Making Corporation (the management organization of Roselectronics) noted Sergey Sakhnenko, "serial production of the complexes is planned to be launched in 2023, customers are already contacting us."

The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" is being held on August 15-21, 2022 at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center.
