Flamethrowers in Syria
Jetpack flamethrowers are usually associated with the Second World War, but this weapon is still used in a number of armies around the world. For example, they were occasionally involved during the war in Syria by government forces.
Moreover, according to some reports, some kind of local development was used. In any case, it did not look like the famous Soviet light infantry flamethrower LPO-50. Nevertheless, video footage of its use was published on the Network.
The People's Liberation Army of China has been operating the Type 74 flamethrower developed in the 70s for a long time, which became a continuation of the Type 58, a local clone of the LPO-50.

In service with the PLA
Despite the fact that there are jet flamethrowers in the PLA, they are not going to give up satchels. They are very effective in fighting infantry in trenches and dugouts, as well as in storming settlements and actions in the mountains.
It has been repeatedly noted that the combat use of jet flamethrowers has a demoralizing effect on the enemy.
