Sweden will join the British training program for Ukrainian servicemen, the government of the country has decided to send Swedish military instructors to the UK. This is stated in the press release of the government office.
The "breakthrough" program of the British army to train Ukrainian servicemen is gaining defense, New Zealand, Canadian and now Swedish instructors have joined the British instructors. According to the published information, the Swedish Armed Forces will send 120 military instructors to the territory of the United Kingdom, who will be engaged in basic military training of future Ukrainian military. Swedish instructors will start arriving in the UK by August 12 and will stay there until December 31 this year. 120 Swedish soldiers will be divided into two groups of 60 people who will change each other. The training program of the Ukrainian military itself will take place in several stages, a total of 10 thousand citizens of Ukraine should go through it.
Earlier, Canada announced joining the AFU training program, Canadian instructors also went to the UK, which is becoming the main training ground for the Ukrainian army outside the territory of Ukraine.
