The Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering (Tsniitochmash) has created a device "Diana", which allows for instant forced stopping of machines. This is reported by TASS, referring to Rostec.
According to Anton Semenyako, Director of production at Tsniitochmash, the device allows you to completely stop cars at a distance of 100-150 meters in a few seconds.
"We propose to "shoot" the product from the packaging with a pyropatron. Thanks to this, it will be possible to scatter the product right on the go, without leaving the special transport. For example, by simply overtaking the violator and "shooting" the product onto the road in front of him directly from the window of his own car," the specialist said.
Tsniitochmash stressed that "Diana", unlike "Hedgehog", leaves part of its design in the wheel of the car, making it impossible for the vehicle to move further.
In July, the Almaz-Antey Aerospace Defense concern showed Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov a prototype of the E—Neva electric crossover powered by hydrogen.
