TSAMTO, July 22. A series of joint events of the Board of the Military Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has ended in the Military Innovation Technopolis "ERA".
The events were attended by more than 400 representatives of federal executive authorities, military administration bodies, leading enterprises of the military-industrial complex, research organizations, higher educational institutions, as well as members of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation.
The key event of the series of joint events was the holding of the VII scientific and technical conference "The state and prospects of the development of modern science, the work of which was organized in three sections: "Technical vision, pattern recognition", "Robotics", "Artificial intelligence technologies for the development of weapons, military and special equipment".
During the work of the first section, the issues of expanding cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of Russia and industrial enterprises leading the development of weapons and special equipment samples, in which the results of research in the direction of "Technical vision and pattern recognition" were considered.
The second section provided for discussion by the participants of one of the priority areas of development of technopolis "ERA" – "Robotics", where young scientists conduct research and create promising models in the field of situational modeling of the use and evaluation of the effectiveness of robotic complexes, intelligent support systems and decision-making, work out elements of group and swarm control of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The final event in the framework of joint activities of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission and the Ministry of Defense of Russia was the holding of the third section – "Artificial intelligence technologies for the development of weapons, military and special equipment", where reports were heard on the development of mechanisms for verifying the results of artificial neural networks and the formation of training samples when creating special products. The conference participants discussed the main issues of hardware implementation of neural network algorithms with memristor symantic weights and debated on the topic of formalization of tasks of autonomous group management of RTK in the tactical link.
According to the organizers of the event, the conference plays an important role in the issues of interaction and exchange of experience between specialists of technopolis ERA with representatives of domestic industrial enterprises in the areas of research of military innovation, building an effective model of interaction based on VIT ERA, as well as updating the directions of development in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence.
During the two days of the conference, more than 40 speakers were heard on the prospects for the development and application of robotic complexes, their control systems using artificial intelligence and technical vision technologies.
Within the framework of the complex of joint events, a thematic exposition of more than 30 innovative projects and developments in the field of robotics and mechatronics, biotechnical systems and technologies, advanced measuring complexes and sensing systems, artificial intelligence, medicine, robotics, information technology was launched.
Collective projects of the Military Innovative Technopolis "ERA", residents of the military innograd, specialists of research organizations and higher educational institutions aroused wide interest of guests and participants of the events. The latest developments will be presented at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022", according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
