The United States is categorically against Iran transferring drones to Russia for use in Ukraine. According to the official representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, the threat of the introduction of new sanctions is hanging over Tehran.
Washington is very closely monitoring the situation with Iranian drones, which Russia is allegedly going to buy. The Americans are very concerned about this issue and say that with the help of the purchased drones, Russia can gain a significant advantage over the APU. Since they cannot prevent a potential deal in any way, there is only one thing left - to threaten sanctions, however, as always.
The State Department, represented by Price, threatened Iran with the introduction of further restrictions for the possible transfer of drones to Russia. However, he did not say anything specific, only promised the next restrictions. In general, nothing new, the United States reacts in a similar way to literally everything, the practice of imposing sanctions against countries that do not comply with the "decrees" from the White House is put at their forefront.
Price said.
Meanwhile, both Tehran and Moscow deny the fact of negotiations on the supply of drones, stating that at the moment there are no plans to purchase drones. Military experts, in turn, were divided in their opinions on this issue. Some talk about the need to purchase Iranian UAVs, stating that Tehran has achieved some success in this matter, having managed to create really good drones that will help the Russian army in its defense. Others declare the need to increase the production of their own UAVs already created in Russia and further development of the industry, rather than hoping for supplies from abroad.
