Air EV
The Israeli company Air began full-fledged tests of its One flying machine in June, and to date they have all been successful. The tests will continue, but it is already clear that the designers' idea was completely successful — the technique turned out to be reliable and interesting. It is possible that Air One will become the first mass personal flying vehicle by 2024.
Despite the external similarity with a small aircraft, the Air One is technically an octocopter with two pairs of coaxial propellers. It does not have any special organs for movement in the horizontal plane, so it moves like all multicopters of classical design – leaning forward a little. At the same time, the beveled wings assume a position parallel to the ground and take on part of the load, creating a certain lifting force. The tail helps the Air One maintain stability in flight.

The main advantage of the machine is that it is designed for useful work. The Air One flies up to 175 km on a single charge for an hour. He takes on board two people with luggage with a total weight of 250 kg. The maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h, cruising speed is 160 km/h. At the same time, the Air One weighs like a small car, only 868 kg, and people are inside a cozy enclosed cabin with a windshield. The cost of one copy is estimated at $ 150,000, the manufacturer already has pre-orders for one and a half hundred Air One.
