Russian Su-30SM fighters participating in a special military operation in Ukraine use supersonic guided missiles X-31 to destroy enemy equipment. This was reported in the power structures of the Crimea.
The Russian Su-35S and Su-30SM heavy multipurpose fighters are the main fighter aircraft participating in the special operation in Ukraine. In addition to the task of destroying enemy aircraft in the air, they are also assigned the task of striking the ground, for which X-31P anti-radar missiles are installed on the aircraft. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, speaking mainly about the Su-35S. There is little information about the Su-30SM in general, they are almost not shown, although they are actively used.
As it turned out, Su-30SM fighters of the Black Sea Fleet naval aviation are operating in Ukraine. It was about them that they were reported in the Crimea. It is emphasized that the missiles have shown high efficiency in destroying not only the AFU air defense radar, but also other enemy objects.
