Hong Kong. June 28. INTERFAX - A group of three Chinese bombers equipped with hypersonic cruise anti-ship missiles flew over the Miyako Strait, which separates the Japanese islands of Miyako and Okinawa, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on Tuesday.
The Japanese Defense Ministry recorded their flight last Thursday. At the same time, the day before, Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi expressed concern about at least 16 ships of the Russian Federation and China sailing around the country.
According to SCMP, two Chinese H-6J bombers belonged to the PRC Navy, and the third - H-6K - to the PRC Air Force. H-6J carried eight YJ-12 missiles, and the H-6K bomber had electronic warfare equipment on board to suppress enemy radars.
