TSAMTO, June 28. The Turkish company Baykar Makina announced its intention to transfer three Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine for free, RIA Novosti reports.
"Businessmen and ordinary people have donated their funds for this. Baykar will not accept payment (from Kiev) for TB2 and will send three UAVs to the Ukrainian front for free," the company said on Twitter.
As the agency reminds, last week, the head of the Turkish Defense Industry Secretariat, Ismail Demir, said that the country "approaches the supply of weapons to Ukraine with greater caution." At the same time, when asked whether Turkey continues to supply Ukraine with weapons, in particular Bayraktar TB-2 drones, I. Demir said that "something is happening." Ukrainian and Turkish officials declined to comment on further deliveries of the Bayraktar TB-2 UAV to Kiev.
