The Ukrainian army needs armored personnel carriers, so France will supply Kiev with a "significant number" of armored vehicles. This statement was made by the Minister of the Armed Forces of the Republic, Sebastien Lecorny.
France will continue to supply military assistance to Ukraine, at the moment it is planned to transfer an unnamed number of armored personnel carriers, as well as other weapons, including anti-ship missiles, to the Ukrainian army. France believes that Ukraine is in great need of weapons capable of stopping the Russian offensive.
- the minister said, without specifying which armored personnel carriers are planned to be sent to Ukraine.
According to Lecorny, France has not yet sent six 155-mm Caesar self-propelled guns to Ukraine in addition to the 12 self-propelled guns already delivered, so all Kiev's statements about the howitzers received are lies. The delivery was supposed to take place earlier, but the latest data on serviceable Caesar self-propelled guns abandoned by Ukrainian militants during the retreat and falling into the hands of the Russian military, make the French think about the need to supply an additional batch of howitzers.
Meanwhile, the French are not refusing to provide military assistance to Ukraine and are now considering the option of supplying Exocet anti-ship missiles to Kiev. Paris notes that Ukraine needs a PKR "to protect the coast." At the same time, the French authorities emphasize that they are not waging war against Russia, and the supply of weapons to the Kiev regime is an element of European collective security.
