Today, at about 09:25 Moscow time, an attack was carried out on the Novoshakhtinsky refinery, located in the Krasnosulinsky district of the Rostov region. It is reported that a fire broke out on the heat exchanger, which was preceded by an explosion.
At the moment, according to information from the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire is completely localized. Fortunately, the factory staff was not injured.
Initially, it was stated that the cause of the explosion at the Novoshakhtinskoye refinery was not established. However, later a video posted by eyewitnesses of the incident appeared on the network, where a drone that dived into the territory of the plant is clearly visible.

Initially, it was suggested that the APU used Bayraktar-2 as a kamikaze. It is worth noting that outwardly the device really strongly resembles a Turkish drone.
Then, upon closer examination, the original version was discarded. A number of structural elements (including non-removable front chassis) indicates that a Ukrainian-made PD-1 or PD-2 UAV was most likely used for the strike.
Finally, it is worth noting that the object of attack of the Ukrainian paramilitary formations is located 10 kilometers from the border with the LPR, which (border) is currently completely controlled by the People's Militia of the Republic.
How did an enemy drone, which was captured by eyewitnesses on a phone camera, invade Russian airspace with absolute impunity and literally "fell" at a refinery? The question remains open.
