The Ministry of Defense has published a video of how military doctors help the population of the LPR and military personnel
MOSCOW, June 19 - RIA Novosti. Doctors of the Russian Armed Forces continue to provide qualified medical care to the civilian population of the LPR, the corresponding video was published on Sunday by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The footage shows the evacuation of the wounded by helicopter to the hospital, the training of military doctors to work with patients, the provision of various medical care to both military personnel and civilians.
"Since we are military doctors, of course, these are primarily military personnel, but we also provide assistance to residents of the Luhansk, Donetsk People's Republics. The age categories are from the elderly and, accordingly, children, we try to help, as additional medical forces, we do not refuse anyone who needs here," said dentist Viktor Taushan.
Russian military medics are equipped with all the necessary equipment. Armored vehicles "Lens" and Mi-8 helicopters are used for evacuation to specialized medical institutions. The staff includes surgeons, traumatologists, neurosurgeons, ophthalmologists who have all the equipment available to provide specialized and surgical qualified care.
According to Yuri Brovko, head of the department of the airborne medical detachment of the Airborne Forces, the basis of the airmobile hospital is a pneumatic frame kit reinforced with Kevlar thread.
"That is, it is a kind of inflatable bulletproof vest for doctors and patients who are being treated on the basis of our institution. This kit unfolds and starts its work in 12 hours, also due to the peculiarities of this kit, together with the personnel, it is landed anywhere on Earth," Brovko said.
