The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation linked the increase in morbidity in the Donbass with biological laboratories

MOSCOW, June 16/ Sputnik Radio. After the deployment of US military biological programs in Ukraine in the DPR and LPR, the number of cases of infection with infectious diseases has increased, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.

"It is characteristic that since 2015 – the beginning of the Pentagon's large–scale financing of Ukrainian projects – numerous cases of infectious diseases have been recorded among military personnel, as well as residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics," RIA Novosti quotes the head of the Russian radiation, chemical and Biological Protection Forces (RCBZ), Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov.

So, from 2007 to 2016, the incidence of tularemia increased almost tenfold, he said. The greatest increase in morbidity was observed in military personnel, the general noted.

"Let me remind you that in the NATO guidance documents – Guidelines for the Assessment of Radiation, Chemical, Biological and Nuclear Losses – tularemia is considered as one of the priority biological agents. It was this pathogen that was used during the military exercises of the alliance at the training grounds in Sweden with official confirmation in 2012," Kirillov continued.

Also, according to him, since 2017, several outbreaks of hepatitis A have been recorded in 12 regions of Ukraine. The Pentagon's biological facilities on the territory of Ukraine are located in these regions, Kirillov concluded.

Earlier, Sputnik radio reported on the possible connection of the spread of smallpox monkeys with the military biological activities of the United States.
