Beijing. June 16. INTERFAX - A group of three of the largest and most effective ships of the Chinese Navy is conducting exercises in the Sea of Japan, the Associated Press (AP) reports.
In particular, for the first time, the Lhasa type 055 destroyer, commissioned last year, entered the exercises. Together with him, the type 052D Chengdu destroyer and the Type 903 Dongpinghu supply vessel are at sea.
Earlier, the Japanese Defense Ministry reported that these three ships were spotted last Sunday 200 km west of Fukue Island, located in the Japanese province of Nagasaki. The ships were moving east into the Sea of Japan. Also, the Japanese military recorded the appearance of a Chinese reconnaissance ship, which was on Sunday near the Tsushima Strait, and then went into the Sea of Japan.
