MOSCOW, June 14 — RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Defense has published a video showing Russian Su-25 attack aircraft destroying camouflaged Ukrainian positions.
In the footage, you can see the preparation of attack aircraft for departure, takeoff in pairs and exit at extremely low altitudes and maximum speeds to the area of the combat mission. There, the planes release unguided aircraft missiles and immediately go into an anti-aircraft maneuver with the shooting of heat traps. The approaches to the target are repeated several times, after which the Su-25 return to the airfield.
"The crews of the assault aircraft carried out missile air strikes on military facilities and equipment of the AFU units. Rocket launches were carried out in pairs from low altitudes. As a result of the combat use of aviation weapons, camouflaged fortified field positions and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed," the Defense Ministry said.
After departure, the engineering and technical staff promptly carried out maintenance of the aircraft and prepared them for new combat missions.
Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. As Vladimir Putin stressed, its goal is "to protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years." According to the Ministry of Defense, by the end of March, the Russian army had completed the main tasks of the first stage — it significantly reduced the combat potential of Ukraine. The main goal in the department was called the liberation of Donbass.
