The German concern Rheinmetall has restored part of the Marder infantry fighting vehicles promised to Kiev, the equipment is fully ready for shipment to Ukraine. This statement was made by the CEO of the concern Armin Papperger.
Answering the questions of a journalist from the German edition of Bild regarding the deliveries of the Marder infantry fighting vehicles promised to Kiev, Papperger explained that the concern's enterprises are working on the restoration and modernization of infantry fighting vehicles removed from storage. In total, about 100 cars will be upgraded. Some of them are already ready to be sent to Ukraine and are just waiting for the decision of the German government.
