TSAMTO, June 7. Russian sappers checked almost 3 thousand hectares of territory in the DPR and LPR during mine clearance, neutralized almost 14 thousand explosive objects.
This was stated on June 6 at a briefing by the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
According to him, "the mine clearance units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are carrying out tasks to clear the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics of explosive objects. A total of 2832.1 hectares have been checked," M. Mizintsev said.
In addition, as M.Mizitsev noted, 35 buildings were checked, including 13 socially significant objects, one bridge and 9.64 km of roads.
In general, "13987 explosive objects were found and neutralized, including 30 in a day," M.Mizintsev said.
