MOSCOW, June 6 - RIA Novosti. The Russian Defense Ministry demonstrated the downed Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet, as well as the launch of the S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, the corresponding video was published on Monday by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The footage shows the vertical launch of an anti–aircraft missile from the transport and launch container of the S-300/S-400 air defense complex, as well as the burning wreckage of a Ukrainian fighter aircraft taken from a drone, scattered across the field at the place of their fall.
Earlier on Monday, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said that Russian air defense systems shot down a MiG-29 fighter of the Ukrainian Air Force near the settlement of Slavyansk in the DPR.
