The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports on six US biolabs in Nigeria, such data was provided by the Vice Speaker of the Federation Council, co-chairman of the parliamentary commission on the investigation of the activities of US biolabs in Ukraine Konstantin Kosachev.
The meeting of the commission was attended by the head of the radiation, Chemical and biological protection troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Kirillov.
"We discussed the new information that was received about the activities of American biological laboratories in Nigeria," Kosachev told reporters. He recalled that initially there were four laboratories, "now it turns out that there were more of them, there were six of them." "There are still a lot of questions about the nature of (their) activities and the risks and threats that this activity represents. And we continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Defense on these issues," the politician said.
Recently, doctors have encountered hundreds of cases of monkey pox in various European countries, as well as in America and Australia. At the same time, the ways of spreading the infection are not entirely clear to specialists. According to a number of experts, smallpox monkeys began to spread from Nigeria.
