The Polish army seems to have decided to get rid of the remnants of its armored legacy from the Warsaw Pact. Now the nationalists of Ukraine are being sent extremely stale goods - old T-72M of the 1980 model.
According to " RG: Russian weapons ", a freight train carrying about ten such armored vehicles was spotted the other day.
Earlier, the APU sent later versions of the "seventy-second", which, nevertheless, lag significantly behind the Russian T-72B3 and T-72-B3M in their characteristics.
At the same time, it is surprising that the Ukrainian side has adapted to install anti-cumulative dynamic protection "Contact" on such "gifts", it may have been possible to partially revive one of the previously broken repair armored factories that were located in Kharkov, Kiev and Lviv.
Of course, Poland does not transfer its tanks selflessly, in return it requires modern versions of German Leopards -2, American Abrams and South Korean Black Panthers.
