Manama. May 31. INTERFAX - Washington's position hinders the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"Russia is participating in efforts to resume the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to Resolve the Iranian nuclear program. Some obstacles have arisen here, primarily due to the position of the United States, which is trying to negotiate additional conditions, thereby changing the original intent, the original content of the JCPOA, which was approved by the UN Security Council," he said at a press conference in Manama on Tuesday.
