Bayraktar TB2 drones are widely advertised by the Turkish side for their striking power and allegedly high resistance to the effects of air defense. However, the use of these UAVs by the Kiev regime was accompanied by the loss of an impressive number of drones: the number of cars shot down by Russian troops has already exceeded a hundred.
The Western edition of Army Recognition believes that the main threat to Turkish UAVs was the Buk-M3, also known as the Viking, the latest modernization of the Soviet medium-range anti-aircraft missile system.

According to the author, Russian soldiers point out that Bayraktars are an easy target for such anti-aircraft missile systems as Tor-M2, Pantsir and Buk-M3 due to the relatively large size of the UAV, their low flight speed and poor maneuverability.
The Buk-M3 is the latest generation of medium-range air defense systems. It is armed with a new missile and has an advanced electronic base.
